Why

The Magazine Exist

Founder of The Ėditure

I have been speaking to this beautiful community for over ten years. It started almost unintentionally, by sharing recipes, and over time it became something else: a place where I could share what I was learning, what was useful to me, what was challenging. The conversation grew on its own, and the questions that reached me the most were never just about what product I used, but how I choose, how I solve things, how I live certain experiences. That conversation is one of the most valuable things I have, and there are topics I wanted to address with more calm and more order than what fits in a story that disappears after twenty-four hours.

The Ėditure was born for something very specific: to help us choose better amidst so much noise, with criteria behind everything that comes in. The Magazine is the part of that project that doesn’t sell anything. It’s the place where I can finally discuss what I find important, relevant, and useful for us. It’s not a blog or a magazine; it’s a living space that we create together.

I propose topics that I know interest us, but I don’t speak alone. Sometimes the editorial team speaks, and many times we invite someone who is an expert in something to explain it better than I could. I stay attuned to what is moving you to find the best way to address it. And I am just one more in this community; I’m not up above explaining how to live. I also read The Magazine, and I also benefit from what is shared here.

It's not that I'm bothered by what's out there, but I do notice that there's an enormous oversupply of content, an avalanche of topics that the algorithm throws at us and that often serves us no purpose. Here we do the opposite: we filter and edit, and we publish only what truly interests this particular community, even if that means publishing much less.

What I would like to happen is quite simple. That you read a piece and take away something you can apply to your life, something that helps you do one thing a little better, to be a better wife, mother, daughter, friend, coworker, student, citizen. That this, without intending to, is noticeable in the people around you. Because if what we learn here is passed on, and you multiply it by hundreds of thousands, together we end up building a slightly better world. I don't believe that an article will change anyone's life overnight, but I do believe in what accumulates over time.

The Magazine is independent: there are no sponsorships or commitments of any kind here. The priority, without discussion, is that the content is honest, interesting, and useful, without relying on a script or pulling a topic to meet an agenda. The brands we curate have their own place within the platform, with their own content, and that's perfectly fine; The Magazine has its own, and the only difference is that nothing for sale comes in here. That's why I keep it separate: so that when you read something in The Magazine, you know it's here only because it's worth it.

So welcome. We do this together, and I'll be here, reading just like you.
